Parents of Kanawha County homeschool students may choose for their child to participate in the 2024 WV General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) to meet state code requirements for testing while homeschooling. Students in GR 11 may participate in the WVGSA/SAT School Day on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Grades 3 - 8 WVGSA testing will take place during the following test windows: Writing Assessment, March 4-15, 2024; Reading, Math & Science, April 8 - May 24, 2024. To request your student's participation in the 2024 WVGSA, please contact the principal or test coordinator at the school in your local attendance area by January 13, 2024.
