What is the Collaborative Program?
The mission of the University Collaborative Program is to provide challenging instruction to at-risk students in a collegiate setting. We serve as a liaison between Kanawha County Schools and West Virginia State University to prepare students for success in the 21st century.
Who's eligible?
Any junior or senior enrolled in a Kanawha County High School.
How much does it cost?
This opportunity is available due to the funding received from the Kanawha County Schools Alternative Education Department and gives our students a unique opportunity to obtain a head start in college before even graduating from high school! Tuition and books are free to all students.
