Information about the COVID-19 vaccine in WV is available through the WV DHHR website at: https://dhhr.wv.gov/COVID-19/Pages/Vaccine.aspx

Students 5 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and those 18 years of age and older may receive any of the COVID-19 vaccines. The COVID-19 vaccines were tested in clinical trials and found safe and effective for those ages 5 and older (Pfizer-BioNTech for those 5-18).

The COVID-19 vaccine is available now at your local pharmacy. Call whichever pharmacy is closest to you and make sure to confirm that they have the Pfizer vaccine (which has been approved for 5 and up). You can also go to vaccinefinder.org and enter your zip code. (Those 5 to 17 years of age will need to select “Pfizer-BioNTech COVID Vaccine” on this webpage.)
