Parents of Kanawha County homeschool students may choose for their child to participate in the 2019 WV General Summative Assessment to meet state code requirements for testing while homeschooling. The SAT School Day Exam will serve as the Summative Assessment for Grade 11 students and will be administered in each high school on April 9, 2019. Students in Grades 3 - 8 will complete ELA and Math online assessments provided by AIR during the KCS Summative Assessment window of April 10 - May 29, 2019. To request and schedule your student's participation, parents must contact the school counselor at the school in their attendance area by January 18, 2019.
