Kanawha County Schools is excited to announce the launch of its brand-new mobile app — designed to make it easier than ever for families, students, and staff to stay informed, connected, and up-to-date.
With the new KCS app, users can quickly access key information such as daily breakfast and lunch menus, upcoming school events, and real-time updates from their student’s school. The app also allows users to “favorite” specific schools for faster access and turn on push notifications to receive timely alerts and announcements.
To support the launch, a text message was sent to all KCS families and staff members who have an active mobile number listed in WEVIS. That message, which came from the number 98900, included direct links to download the app from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Families are encouraged to explore the app, select their school(s), and turn on notifications to ensure they never miss an important update.
