Celebration Station, a playground located on Charleston's East End, is temporarily closed for necessary repairs.
Dates Closed: Monday, March 17th - Friday, March 28th
Reopens On: Saturday, March 29th
Updates Include
- Improving handicap accessibility
- Leveling the basketball court to prevent water from ponding
- Planting grass
- Pouring additional concrete
About Celebration Station
Celebration Station is the result of a partnership between the City of Charleston, Kanawha County Schools, the Charleston Rotary Club, and Piedmont Elementary School. The playground is broken up into two areas. One area is open to the public and the other is for Piedmont Elementary School students!
