
Fourth and Fifth Grade Students from across Kanawha County made their way to Charleston on Tuesday to put their math skills to the test!

After a busy morning solving equations and working through formulas, the students were ready to find out who had earned the top spots in this year's contest.
KCS is thrilled to announce the 4th and 5th students who are moving on to the regional contest.
4th Grade:
- Rodger Lin, Central Elementary School
- Ella Alhamwi, Sacred Heart
- Will Emrick, Overbrook Elementary School
- Charlie Johnstone, Holz Elementary School (Alternate)

5th Grade:
- Evan Cumberledge, Cross Lanes Christian
- Ian Alhamwi, Sacred Heart
- Irfan Oreshade, Holz Elementary School
- Mya Durden, Ruffner Elementary School
