Lakewood Elementary Persuasive Writing Lesson
Third grade students at Lakewood Elementary have been working on their persuasive writing skills. To practice, they wrote essays to Mayor Scott James detailing why they felt they needed an updated playground.
Mayor James made a special visit to the students and listened to them present their essays. Thank you to the Lakewood students and Mayor James for working together on this important lesson.
