Second grade students worked together to create a mini-town that showcases local services such as schools, tailors and fire departments. They learned about the services offered at each of these locations, and even created videos talking about their findings!

Students have also been working on forming hypotheses. Several classes worked to predict if certain objects (such as candy bars and pumpkins) would sink or float, and then conducted experiments to see if their guesses were correct.

Alban also has an abundant garden full of vegetables used by the school cooks and local families! Offerings include pumpkins, kale, mint and basil.
