Sissonville Middle

Beth Sirbaugh is a teacher with over 13 years of experience at Sissonville Middle. After nearly a decade of experience in special education at SMS, she transitioned into her current role as the school librarian, where she runs a fun and interactive program.

Her library program is loved by students, offering a "free play" environment where STEM activities nurture problem-solving skills.  From hands-on learning, to kinesthetics, to calm down time, it's a space where students can choose activities and enjoy learning.

Students attend every two weeks on a rotating schedule, ensuring each 5th and 6th-grade classroom has ample time to explore the engaging setups. The stations are created from workshops and professional development activities, aiming to make education both fun and exciting!
