Alum Creek
Alum Creek Elementary Clubs
Alum Creek Elementary has a school-wide PBS (Positive Behavior Support) program and strives to develop positive relationships between students and encourage effective work habits. Expectations and rules are identified, taught, and posted. Teachers track and monitor student behavior daily with Kickboard. Each Friday, students who have maintained their weekly behavior goals attend Clubs.
Club offerings change each nine weeks but have included a variety of interests such as karaoke, sewing, yoga, arts and crafts, and ribbon dancing. Not only has attendance improved on Fridays, behavior incidents have significantly decreased. ACES is proud of the efforts their students are making to be positive members of the school community!
