Capital High School Hosts Step-Up Day
Each year, Capital High School hosts “Step-Up Day” for the incoming freshmen class. Eighth grade students from Horace Mann Middle and West Side Middle visit campus to learn about different ways to get involved. Students also learn about the school motto, “Everybody is somebody at Capital High School”.
Several CHS organizations preformed and presented to the 8th grade students, including the Pride of CHS, ROTC, administrators, counselors, CTE program participants, performing arts participants, dancers, actors, singers, student council and the VIPs.
