"Second Launch" landed at Chesapeake Elementary School

The West Virginia Department of Education, in partnership with the West Virginia Office of Technology, has created a new program called 'Second Launch'.

The program takes state-issued computers, clears the data, re-installs the operating system, and delivers them to students throughout the state.

Today, West Virginia State Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano arrived at one of our schools, Chesapeake Elementary.  The WVDE donated 20 computers, 5 notebooks, and 4 laser printers to the school.

As well, Kanawha County Superintendent, Dr. Ron Duerring and Director of Technology, Leah Sparks attended to show support for such an amazing program.
