Cedar Grove Middle School welcomed over 250 volunteers from Workcamps over the summer. The volunteers came from all across the nation to offer free home repairs to families in the surrounding Cedar Grove community. In fact, approximately 40 families received free home repairs during the week of July 5-11. Repair projects included: porch repair and construction; step repair and construction; exterior painting; interior painting; wheelchair ramp repair and construction; mobile home skirting, etc...

On the evening of July 11, all Workcamps volunteers and those community members helped met at CGMS for a celebration. The partnership between CGMS and Workcamps was so successful that CGMS plans to host the Workcamps mission trip again in the summer of 2016 where we hope to help even more community members.
