Carver Career & Technical Education Center drafting program student Jacob Lipscomb recently presented Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam with a 3D-printed floor model of one of their homes. The local Habitat office requested this model so that they have something on-hand to present to future clients. Kudos to Jacob and drafting instructor, Micah Whitlow, for this partnership. Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam offers many different floor plans, and their hope is to work with Carver students to build more models that allow clients to get a better idea of what their home will look like.
